Developed in 1923 by Frank Lyon, this master planned community was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002, recognizing its collection of Colonial Revival, Craftsman, Tudor Revival, and Spanish Mission Revival homes built largely before 1940. Lyon Village is characterized by its wide sidewalks, mature trees, and homes set on well-tended lots.

The Lyon Village real estate market is dominated by single-family homes, including detached houses on modest lots, most of them built between 1923 and the early 1950s.
