Arlington Forest sits in central-north Arlington. It’s generally bounded by N Carlin Springs Rd and N George Mason Dr on the west, and by N Henderson Rd and N Pershing Dr on the east, with Route 50 (Arlington Blvd) along its southern edge near Four Mile Run.

The closest Metro station to the heart of Arlington Forest is about a mile away—roughly a 30-minute walk or about 6 minutes by car.

• Downtown D.C.: about 7 miles; typically 20–25 minutes without traffic, up to an hour with traffic.
